Lest you forget, Kavanaugh was the dissent in I believe Heller II. I am pretty sure somewhere he penned a dissent where he basically said semiautomatic rifles should be subject to the "in common use" test just like handguns were in Heller.

I do have a good amount of faith in Kavanaugh w/r/t 2A.

I touted five thirty eight.com constantly during 2016. They gave trump 29% chance winning just before polls opened. Not bad. They had a post mortem and largely trump beat the bulk of polls by around 2%. 538 models were solid then, as in 2012.
Some pollsters were clowns like nytimes was right off the rails, but trump didn’t trounce most polls by a huge margin. And they are not looking good now.

As you point out he only won by a small number of actual people. The electoral votes make it seem like he thrashed Clinton but he didn’t at all.

Stop with the polls they have been proven wrong time and time again. Trump has brought to people's attention the deep state traitors like Hillary and Biden is of the same cloth. People see right through it, especially after how Governors and Mayor's handle these crisis. Pure Tyrants!

The affirmation of any Right is gobsmack in the face of the entire premise of Rights to begin with... They are there, not given, not needing to be affirmed or validated by judges... Then they aren't shit to begin with, because it's just their opinions and States have their own (opinions) too, as well exhibited by NY! The fucking SCOTUS can kiss my ass since they let NYC off the hook due to their "amending" their ways... Dismissing decades of Defacto denying law abiding citizens their so called Rights! Fuck them! They got no fucking teeth to enforce their rulings anyway!

Maybe those who wrote the Constitution and didn't want a Bill of Rights out of fear that would exclude any not explicitly written, had a point to leave them out (BOR) and leave the Gov't completely in check from inhibiting or classifying or validating any of those so called Rights? Because even the one, the only, written with explicit content, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED, is continually done so!

In many ways youre right, but as long as most of us are working, with a roof over our heads and our childrens bellies full people will not take that risk. We have lost alot of freedoms over time, but its still no where near as bad as it was for the colonists.

It would take Trump being ousted illegally, a full on socialist take over, and a mass firearm confiscation effort to push most people to the point of organizing a revolt. And imo, they wont push that hard, that fast because they know the result. They will use the frog in the pot method. It will be slowly over many generations. They learned from history that they cant do it quickly or it wont work. Thats why we have to be politically engaged, teach our kids, have them teach their kids, etc.. its an ideological war we are in.

They do, and the time to act is BEFORE that happens. The only real action we can take now is political. We held rallies here in NY and it got us NOTHING!!!!! Peaceful protesting had the governor calling us the vocal minority, and Tom King of the largest gun rights group in NY calling us a threat!


Unfortunately, we are in a different type of society than the colonists were where we are all MORE dependent on "the system" functioning. Not many people have their own farms and can survive without a functioning society today. Only a collapse of society will motive the majority of patriots to take up arms to force change. And that is sadly, AFTER the fact.

Vote majority was carried by California as we all know. +3 million votes, and lots of questions as to who those votes were. Anyways...
