It seems to me, more & more Federal judges are interfering with the executive and judicial branches of the .gov? Why is this allowed to happen, who gave these unelected judges the power to over ride the DOJ?

A federal judge in New York has temporarily blocked any effort by the Trump administration to deport Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian student and permanent resident who led pro-Palestinian encampment protests at Columbia University after the deadly Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel by the Hamas terrorist group.

U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman of the Southern District of New York ordered on March 10 that Khalil—who was arrested over the weekend—must not be deported until further legal proceedings have played out and the court potentially authorizes his removal from the United States.
“To preserve the Court’s jurisdiction pending a ruling on the petition, Petitioner shall not be removed from the United States unless and until the Court orders otherwise,” Furman wrote.

The left did. In reality we do not have 3 co-equal branches of government. We are ruled by the federal court system and the supreme court has the final say on all matters. That's why the left is obsessed with controlling it and why they perverted the law schools of america with woke crap. What the left can't get via the executive or legislative branches they will get via the judicial.

Disclaimer: for legal reasons, the content of this post is my opinion.

During my 60 years in New Yorkistan, I recall having dealt with at least seven (7) Supreme Court Judges. Of the first four that come to mind, two were 100% corrupt and are now retired, and possibly dead. The third seemed honest, but retired before deciding the case, and was replaced by a young, and absolutely corrupt POS who will be on the bench for another couple of decades at least (Ugh).

One was borderline IMHO, and I will withhold my opinion of him. He is now off of the bench.

Two others were 100% honest when I dealt with them. One of those two is now deceased. The other is still on the bench, and doing the right thing daily for the parties who come before him, but his time remaining on the bench is coming to a close soon due to his age.

One of my former lawyers (I fired him because he turned out to be dishonest with me, - and gutless) has since been appointed to the NY Supreme Court bench, which is very sad IMHO. I would hate to be a plaintiff coming before him, because he is not likely to do the right thing.

Edit: Better make that eight (8), I forgot to mention one from my divorce: I spent three (3) years fighting in her court for full residential custody of my kids. I finally won, but it was a painful and costly shitshow. Don't even remember her name, but she was pretty biased in favor of giving their mom residential custody over me, their dad, - which seems to be the norm from what I hear from countless other divorced people.

A Milwaukee County Circuit judge was indicted in federal court Tuesday following accusations that she helped an undocumented immigrant evade federal agents last month.
Judge Hannah Dugan was indicted on charges of obstruction and concealing an individual from arrest, the same charges she was originally arrested and charged with.

She is due in court on Thursday. 5/15

Judicial Activism could possibly be a tipping point to wherever it might take us...

Without a doubt, operating outside their mandate obfuscating the Executive Branch of Gov't... A Judge(s) job is to interpret Law, not invent it, not advocate for a particular section over another, prioritize law to certain benefit... Simply amazing!

Again, who knows where this may lead... But if it continues I can see a powderkeg brewing!

More than half the country is still looking for the government to give them a free ride. Most of America could care less what happens to these jokers. (but a few of us would like to see them in prison....but it ain`t gonna happen) The majority of people don`t even know what day it is let alone wanting to see these political activists be thrown in prison. When you see protests, most of them don`t even know what they`re protesting. Bunch of lost sheep following each other around making dumb noises holding up signs from their coloring books. Soy boys parade around with their rainbow gag flags.

Time to have the US Marshals arrest this Judge for obstruction of justice and obstruction of governmental administration.

This entire situation is a slippery slope. He is a permanent resident, but is actively supporting a pro-terrosist organization. If nothing else, just based on the latter they should send him packing.

He is protected by the First amendment as a permanent resident which is where things become precarious , see Chew v. Colding (1953).

At the same time, it is defined under 18 U.S.C. 2339B Providing Material Support to Designated Terrorist Organizations that liternarure is considered an offense. Can protesting and proprogandizing be considered literature in a different medium?

Most days all there will be is a bunch of "clicks".

If any rando federal judge can issue an injunction that affects the entire nation, and the courts move like a glacier so it ends up at SCROTUM where a "ruling" is made after all the damage is done.....

What the fuck do we need SCROTUM for?
