My "Blade Remediation" project has given me an itch for a new blade. Working 6 days/ 65 hours a week has given me the freedom to scratch it. I won't fully disclose what I got just yet other than to say a "CruCarta" is inbound soon.
Favorite brand for sure.Nice. Love Spyderco Knifes.

Ah yes, the inevitable consequence to getting a new knife. Got blood all over the scale too. But a little water, a drop of hand soap and a toothbrush cleaned it right up. Re-oiled and good as new.
The blade had that no pain cut sharpness BTW
I it is sharp. Very sharp from the factory and I honed the edge with ceramics. It is tissue paper slicing sharp. I cut myself from using my knife as a fidget gadget as I am wont to do with a new blade, blade came down of the tip of my finger as I flicked it shut. The steel seems fine, so far not prone to rusting despite daily carry during some wet conditions at times and regular use. I broke down a bunch of cardboard the other day, it is an excellent slicing tool, and the edge was still very sharp, I stropped it up just for preventative maintenance. We'll see eventually how easy it is to sharpen. You’re always supposed to work with a sharp blade to prevent this from happening.
Nice steel and I’ve been wanting to try it.
