This is my first "see through" tent. I don't know how they pull off the 270° view though. If there's a light source behind the see through walls you can see inside so it makes sense why they black out 2 walls.

Picked up a used Glock G21 Gen4 that looks as if it was never fired and was basically new in the box. Had no wear on barrel hood, feed ramp, slide or end of barrel. Had all the copper grease they put on at the factory and the internals were spotless with no dirt or wear. Nothing like finding a brand new used gun for almost 1/2 of what a new one is going for. Of course I could not let this gun stay unfired so I promptly took it to the range and put 50 rounds Thru it.

went a road trip to hit some of the local gun stores here before sept 13 gets here ...

Vitts Boos slugs .. now i have to buy a roll crimper and find load data and powder

I got a few goodies from Wilson Combat today. A new grip module for my P320 along with a new one for my P365X and the tungsten weight set. These are a massive improvement over the ones from Sig.

found the load data for them 1960's era Vitts Boos .. i can use green dot .. but would be like a trap load at just under 1.5 oz of flying lead with
parts .. for speed
it weighs in at 575 grs ..
need red dot , or longshot and some other powders to spice it up and send it .. lol .
from a reloading group ..
22-24 grs of Green Dot.
Just was looking at the original paperwork that accompanied these slugs. The fastest powder used was 22nd of Red Dot. If you Herco, Blue Dot, or Unique, that would be better.

Picked up my M18 from the gunsmith today. I had the manual safety removed and added a new Wilson Combat grip module with the tungsten weights. I’m going to put a few rounds through it this weekend.

The wife came home to this on the dining room table and was ready to scold me for the 2nd new gun this month. (she doesn't have a clue it's the 3rd.) She calmed quickly when I told her I bought it for her daughter.
A Ruger American Compact in the 6.5 Creedmore with a 16.5 barrel w brake. It should fit her little 4'11" frame good.

Reloading Data .. these will fly from a 12ga cyl bore ..
i'm thinking i can up the charge weight ..
if i got the room the 12ga hull ..
stuffing a 350 grain 50 cal slug down a rifled musket barrel over 100grans of powder is a lot tighter ...
still thinking ....
ummmm Black Powder Slugs .. this could get stinky and fun ..
and i got a free pound of Pyrodex RS to play with
also have some FF goex

I bought two boxes of 20 gauge shotgun shells in TX background check free. I’d have bought more but I was close on weight and being overweight in a checked back would have made it very cost prohibitive.

Was looking for a new headlamp for hunting season. I had one of the e lamp Amazon versions from last year. Was OK. Took this one outside this morning. HOLY SHIT IS THIS FUCKER BRIGHT! Has the adjustable beam. Looked down my road, maybe 1/4 mile and it's AMAZING. Little on the heavy side but I'd buy it again.
Bought this Winchester 36 gun safe from Tractor Supply a couple of weeks ago. It was on sale for $499. It doesn't have great reviews on line, but so far, knock on wood, it's working fine. No way it will hold 36 rifles, but I really only needed more room for ammo and accessories. No issues at all with it, including the locking mechanism. It works fine each and every time. My 12 gun Winchester safe was $479.00, so this was a bargain.

Went to Scheels for the first time. Huge store, with a large hunting/shooting section.
Not sure if these factory Mini-14 30 rounders are still hard to find, but I saw only one hanging there and figured why not? Oddly, it was less expensive than the 20 rounders.

More rings and a mount. Having a tough time finding a mount and ring combo that I like for my sons savage. 2 piece extended rings are tough to find now that so many LGS are closed up, so its buy online and throw them into a box for future use if they don't work. The Hawk rings look nice and promising but boy are the expensive.

You should look into Warne Rings. I’ve got them on a couple of my rifles and I quite like them
