I got a ton of leather working tools from my Son and wife. Got some leather ordered and on its way too. Going to be making a couple of rifle scabbards for my lever guns and a few knife sheaths for a couple of friends.

Get some practice, I have a 38 special holster that needs a new snap and a Colt knife sheath that needs repairing.

Picked up my glock47 today

Went over to Ohio yesterday and picked up a nice Ruger American ranch in 5.56 with vortex crossfire 4-12 and a complete AR rifle lower. Since I had brought a featureless upper and thordsen stock with me, I had the FFL swap the parts onto the AR thus making a nys compliant featureless semi auto On the way back stopped at one of the reservations here in NYS and bought $1,000 worth of ammo without any background check in calibers that i do and do not have guns for.

Suck a dick nys.

or wait maybe I made all this up and instead bought 2 new pistols Glock G19 and walther PDP 5” at the Hamburg gun show yesterday. Guess nys will have to divert time and resources trying to figure this one out.

when I have guns out of the safe and on the table that I’m cleaning or working on, and if I have to step away, I then trigger lock them and keep the only keys on my person. With younger children in the house it’s just a safety measure I always have done regardless of what government says.

Yeah if I have to leave the table and go to the other room to grab a tool or something out of the safe I trigger lock everything. Just a habit since day 1 of my first firearm. It only takes a kid seconds to do something and I am not going to run the risk. With rights comes responsibilities which I take seriously.
