Nothing today, but.... Huge gun show next weekend in Knoxville.

The vortex scout 1.5-5x is relatively new and replaces the old scout scope vortex offered. Initial impressions are good and I think I am going to be happy with it much like my other vortex scopes.

Still waiting on the new .22 for the unborn. But I bought this $25 red dot for it. I'll order a bipod if it doesn't come with one.

Needed to upgrade the tv/ gaming pc monitor. It's been over a decade. Man...stuff has changed. My previous was a 4k/60 Samsung. I knew when I upgraded, from experience with phone and tablet screens, I wanted an OLED. Those blacks are just unbeatable.
But what i did not expect was how razor thin they have become. I thought from LCD to LED was big. This is just crazy. Putting it up i was just waiting for the shatter into a million pieces.
It's barely the width of a 5.7x28mm!!!!

Picked up the new gun for the unborn. Mounted up the red dot. Should have the muzzle brake and bi-pod this weekend.
I only have one week before this goes to my sons diaper party,,, but I really want to add the future grandsons initials, month and year of birth on the barrel. Im out of time and money for laser engraving. I just ordered permanent paint markers. Thinking of 1/4" stickers?? I really don't have time or want to spend anymore money on this gift. I should've just stuck to buying diapers!

That's a great gift to start out life! I started to panic when I saw that thumbhole stock and threaded barrel capable of accepting a muzzle device, then I noticed that it's a bolt action rifle, so the world is still OK.
