My grandfather bought me my first .22 the day I was born, he taped the receipt to the box which was dated that day. He gave it to me when I turned 7, I still have the gun in the box with the receipt taped to it.

I was working at Gander, selling guns. Many moons ago...

For my sons 7th birthday, I reached out to Henry rifles to order him a gun. We used to get GREAT deals on guns from them.

I ordered the child size lever action 22lr.

Spoke with our rep and told him it was a gift for his B-day.

I was able to get a custom serial number for it.

His initials and his current birthday at the time.

He looks at it now and just smiles.
