So what are the “sensitive and restricted” areas.2nd Circuit issued their opinion yesterday. Carrying on private property that is accessible to the public is allowed. They upheld the sensitive and restricted locations as well as other parts...
A while before the CCIA was passed, people talked about the new laws they feared would be forced through if we “won” the Bruen case. He mocked those opinions mercilessly by calling those people “smooth brained” and laughed repeatedly about “Safe Act 2,” and how it would never happen. He crawled into his hole and disappeared from here right after the CCIA was voted into exiteance. He battled relentlessly with anyone on Reddit that didn’t 100% agree with him on any topic, until he finally got dogpiled and the internet got sick of that little bitch and he took his crumpled ball and went home, back under his sad little sagging bridge. Or so I heard.?? Is Edward Teachout permanently banned? Or did he just walk out?
I understand he liked to get into with other members but I don't give a shit about that. I found him a good resource on current gun litigation. Many other of his threads are still going strong also.

"good moral character" requirement was upheld too.....
All depends on of the lawyers want to do it at this point.OK So know the 2nd circut has run its course as NY had requested , now can we ask to supreme crt to re visit and apply bruen to it and over turn it once and for all ?
They usually don't knock........Fuk'm. I'm not gonna answer the door.
I believe this ruling was only in regards to the preliminary injunction that had been granted at one or more lower courts.OK So know the 2nd circut has run its course as NY had requested , now can we ask to supreme crt to re visit and apply bruen to it and over turn it once and for all ?
And I don't usually fuck around. I just want to be left alone. I have become the old grey beard. They usually don't knock........

Yes and No. It pisses us all off, but I'm glad that these challenges are making it up the chain while the Bruen decision is pretty fresh. Personally, my county did not approve any concealed carry licenses before Bruen unless you were a cop, a judge, a lawyer, a politician, an armed security guard, a celebrity or a friend of the judge or sheriff. The rest of us had no concealed carry. With Bruen, I can carry concealed and with this injunction, I can carry in a lot more places. But who knows how long before that becomes permanent. All this hubbub and we are worse off than with the Safe Act. Way to go.
@Dr. Evil has got it right... just keep kicking that can right down the road...
They usually don't knock........
And how ironic that you live in Freeville.Yes and No. It pisses us all off, but I'm glad that these challenges are making it up the chain while the Bruen decision is pretty fresh. Concealed is....Concealed.CCIA §265.01-e(2)(c) prohibiting carry in places of worship is struck down for now (2nd District Court of Appeals affirmed the preliminary injunction against this) as a result of ruling on this item in the Spencer case (see page 170 of the decision). I started carrying to stores yesterday and will carry in church starting tomorrow.
Until you need to use it. Just make sure your lawyer is on speed dial, you`ll need him/her.Concealed is....Concealed.
Or you somehow slip and fall and need an EMT while they undress your ass, you'll be subsequently handcuffed thereafter.Until you need to use it. Just make sure your lawyer is on speed dial, you`ll need him/her.
That should go without saying anytime you strap up regardless of carry laws . If I need to draw my gun, shit has gone very wrong and Im willing to deal with the aftermath later , at least I will be around to deal with it later .Until you need to use it. Just make sure your lawyer is on speed dial, you`ll need him/
I'm a firm believer that what NYS did with not allowing gun owners to have self defense insurance is a crock. That should go without saying anytime you strap up regardless of carry laws . If I need to draw my gun, shit has gone very wrong and Im willing to deal with the aftermath later , at least I will be around to deal with it later .
Same, except grocery store and breakfast with my better half.Carried at church and grocery store today. It's a responsibility, not just a right.
Same, except grocery store and breakfast with my better half.
Better than having to call your mortician.Until you need to use it. Just make sure your lawyer is on speed dial, you`ll need him/her.
I feel better about my wife shopping at Suckacuse's Carousel Mall.
