Another reason I live where the busses don't run. I don't have anything like this by me. These people don't have cars because they inject or snort every dollar they "have". Using "have" here loosely as it's mostly all stolen, etc. No busses = I never am around these people. Busses bring trash where it doesn't belong. Stay away from busses = none of this.
Looks like heroin users.
Years ago, there was an accident near the big mall in Cheektowaga (A once, decent suburb of Buffalo). This vehicle accident killed a young woman from the city that used the buss to commute to work. No buses were allowed on the property of the mall. She was dropped off at a bus stop on a rather busy road, in typical fashion, she decided to cross the street against the light and outside of the crosswalk. A large dump truck was unable to see her and ran her over, she was dead after being run over by the truck.
The family and all kinds of people sued, of course for lots of money and to force the property owners to allow buses on the property. Since that day, this particular mall has gone completely down the tubes and arrests in the Town have shot through the roof.
I agree, whenever possible, stay away from bus routes.

Now the mall is a literal breeding ground of crime. There are regular packs of youth causing massive problems, lots of fights, shop lifting and robberies, car break ins, harassment etc.
I know many people who refuse to go there ever now, because it's not worth the risk and hassle.
They keep trying to renovate the mall or make it more upscale to attract more shoppers but it's not fixing the fundamental problem that keeps shoppers away.

Do you have any info on it or just your Spidey sense? I didn't see anything in the article that indicated it was suspicious or under investigation.
Unfortunately trains derailing is far more common than people realize and it's been going on forever (I worked for a class 1 railroad for a little while). It could be any number of factors that caused it. I'm not ruling out sabotage but also saying there are many non sabotage potential causes.
We almost bought a nice house 10 years ago that was about 300 yards from busy freight train tracks and I said nope. It would always be in the back of my mind of a hazmat train derailment in my backyard.
Sure a coal train derailment fits into the spectrum of a gray terror attack campaign. But I would be far more interested if it was something like an LNG or LPG train or a chemical train.

I'm much more suspicious of this;. To me this is much more likely to be with physical or cyber sabotage. A liquified natural gas terminal that handles 20% of our exports is down after a major explosion and energy release.
