I'm torn on Israel and the middle east.

I think Israel is the most civilized country there and they are frequently the victims of attacks and atrocities. Hamas and Hezbollah are scum and if they were eradicated the world would be better off.

I think a lot of the middle Eastern people are barbaric. But not all, there are some who are just trying to live their lives and they genuinely think Israel is the villain. I guess if I was in their shoes I probably would too. There are plastianian people just trying to live their lives and Israel is absolutely destroying them. And it can be argued justifiably so. If we were attacked in the manner Israel was i would be livid too.

However I also don't think Israel is a blameless innocent party.

Israel will align with US policy and interests when it's mutually beneficial for their interests. Otherwise there are circumstances like the USS liberty. Israel is going to do what is good for Israel.

The whole eye for an eye makes everyone blind really applies to the middle east.

The fact most of europe has this problem is irrelevant. Before the war russia was literally a dying country (more deaths than births). War losses among males in the prime baby making years only exacerbated the situation. As for BRICs being the fastest growing international partnership - that is a laugh. Russia was dying in the 1990's, not before the war. Only a fraction of able bodied males are fighting the war and they are not conscripts who have yet to start a family. Whether BRICS trade in dollars, yuen or rubles, it still benefits Russia.

The strategic benefits of taking the largest richest food produceing coal producing, natural gas producing mineral producing areas of Ukraine and possibly the port of Odessa will have strong economic benefits for Russia ,
