Realistically I was thinking 3.50-4 by end of week.

The longer this goes and the longer the strait is closed the higher the prices will gradually rise. 5$ isn't out of the question in a relatively short time.

Yeah, it is a Republic of Palau flagged tanker (under US Sanction for carrying Iranian oil .... usually to China but managed out of Dubai) with a mixed Indian and Iranian crew (Iranian Master and Chief). There is video of a small Iranian boat firing on the tanker but I could not verify since the small coastal Iranian patrol boat had no flag and no bow or stern markings (so it could have been stock Iranian propaganda footge from a decade ago).

It's going to depend on location. Still many around me that haven't been under $3 in years. Some were at $3.19 off and on for the first 7-8 months right after we moved here two years ago. Then sitting at $3.09 until 3 weeks ago when they went to $3.04. I was going to a Mobil that was under $3 pretty often. But, last year even they went up to $2.98 and 9/10.
