This disgraceful slush fund epitomizes the cesspool of corruption in Albany, where Democrat elites prioritize protecting their own over the needs of New York families.

Letitia James, who illegally weaponized her office to pursue politically motivated witch hunts, now expects taxpayers to foot the bill for her alleged misconduct. Meanwhile, New Yorkers are crushed by skyrocketing crime, a mass exodus from our state, and a cost-of-living crisis fueled by Hochul’s failed policies. The alleged crimes that Jumbo James is being accused of are of her own personal affairs. The alleged crimes she's being accused of have absolutely nothing to do with the NY AG Office or Jumbo acting in her official duties as the NY AG.

Therefore, in no way should New York taxpayers be paying for her legal defense.
As they are Jumbo's personal matters.

But here we are. :mad:

The New York State Democrats are criminals. Forcing NY taxpayers to pay for Jumbo's legal defense under these circumstances is stealing money. And of course, stealing someone's money is a crime.

Sounds like this is a great way for the Trump DoJ to go after der eyebrows fuhrer and all of the other corrupt NY politicians. any who signed this should be arrested and removed for fraud.
Maybe even start withholding Federal funds from NY.

That is a Federal crime, to give away any dollars from the Federally supported State Budget, to a criminal BLM. What is she going to do??? Contract out to a criminal defense law firm, at our expense?

It's no different then when party tits used taxpayer funds for his defense. They claimed he was governor so he's covered. I don't think groping women is an official act.

What's next? Schumer robs a bank and we pay for his defense because he's an elected official?

That should be criminal and anyone that voted for it should be brought up on charges for aiding and abiding a criminal. I don’t want to pay for this trash to defend herself, in fact I hope she pleads guilty and they string them together to get her jailed for life.

Most residents probably do not know about this or would even give shit if they do.
At most, it will induce a shoulder shrug and a meh, and a that figures type of thing.

No one is going to step up, no one is going to be dumb enough to place their head on the chopping block and go down in flames for a lost cause. Not when there are other options available. You know, the same option that you took for you and your family.

No one ever steps up. I was guilty of that as well when I lived up North. I spouted off at the mouth, a lot. I wrote letters and tried to call out the BS. I wrote to the newspapers, called radio shows and voiced my opinion and my thoughts. In the end, I just not be part of it.

I get it, life really does get in the way of being in the lead to go after this level of corruption. Maybe the time has come to by some tar and feathers....

In reality, what can be done? There was a time when 7,000 pissed off New Yorkers held the largest protest of any kind in New York at the state capitol. (Repeal NY UNSAFE Act rally)

The only thing that happened as a result was some damaged grass, Cuomo groping woman, and murdering tons of senior citizens. No cash bail and a sanctuary state policy. The CCIA and ah fuck it.

When considering the shithole that New York has become. If someone has people depending on them, as most of us do, there is only one intelligent answer.

New York State is the village idiot of the Country. It's not worth ruining one's life over.
Moving out of New York is the correct answer.

I'm embarrassed just to be associated with this shithole. The worst part is I'm not even from here. I have no family tradition, history, or roots here in NY. I have no loyalty to New Yorkistan. But yet, I'm fucking stuck here. :mad:

I can certainly move to a place of sanity and freedom, but at the same time, make my happy, family-oriented wife very unhappy.

The worst part about this is, and I think it's worth repeating, that the alleged crime(s) that Jumbo James is accused of. Don't have anything to do with the NY AG Office or anything to do with Jumbo acting in her official capacity as the NY AG. But yet, if this budget/bill passes, the New York taxpayer will be paying for her legal defense. Just let that sink in for a moment...:mad:

How is that not stealing We the People's money?
It's frickin' flat out theft, there's no two ways about it.
Especially considering Jumbo's legal issues are that of a personal matter.

As I have said many times, the New York Democrats are criminals.
The New York Government has gone rogue. It has become a lawless entity.

Whether you believe it is NYC "outvoting" us, or dominion machines, it is impossible to "vote" these criminals out of office.
The only solutions left are:
1) They get arrested for the crimes they commit, like any other criminal,
2) They get "removed".

Not everyone is in a position to abandon their homes, friends, family, to move to another State.

"What can we do?" Well I did write a couple of letters (fat lot of good that will do) to my NY Assemblyman and the assembly itself. I don't expect it to do any good, but I did point out that this would set a precadent and that when a Rep gets in trouble the state will be expacted to pay for that too. Ya never know, maybe, just MAYBE some common sense will hit them!

The last few times I reached out about anything of value to any liberal politician they refused to respond. Mark Polancarz last email back to me was a flat out lie. I replied with then the article directly quoting him as saying this is wrong? I got a yep in response. It was in reference to the national guard being posted at Buffalo city entrances to arrest and ticket civilians a week or so after a storm. I had a simple solution since they drove the Bills players to the airport shouldn’t they have been cleaning the streets or brining food to residence instead of punishing them for your failures. I guess Mark didn’t like that.
