Who's hunting the extended Deer Management Focus Area?

Just realized there's an extended after season hunt in the DMFA in Tompkins County.

Anyone getting their permits? Two doe per day for 19 days! Seems I lucked out this season, I may get my permits. Only problem is there isn't any state land in the DMFA, all private land. And I don't know any landowners in Tompkins

What good are those daily DMP if no one can hunt them ?

There's a LOT of farms in the area. Can even hunt the two state parks with bow and cross bow. I might take a ride out there and talk to a few farmers and see if I can get permission. Can't hurt to ask.
