My apologies but I can't agree with this. Everyone that was involved in this travesty of so-called "Justice" ought to be fired, arrested, charged, found guilty and be hung as traitors.

It is obvious that the fascist trash entered into multiple conspiracies to destroy Trump before he even got the nomination, and its been dozens of unlawful attacks on him since then. What is going on is utter bullshit, and I say that as a guy who doesn't put much stock in Trump at all.

The whole "Documents" case was lies from the start topped off with evidence tampering.

I absolutely know that he's been maliciously (not just "unfairly") collaborated against purposely by our "government" for more than 8 years now, that all of it is NOT true American Justice AT ALL but complete bullshit, and I stand by him in the sense that NO ONE ought to be trod upon by the fucking jackboots that call themselves government "servants." My dislike for the man at this point (after voting for him twice) does not cloud my judgment that he is being persecuted.

They just tried to kill the man by shooting him in the head for God's sake!

Heads need to roll, all according to due process and actual American Justice.

Well yeah after the SCOTUS ruling. 1) Per the ruling nothing obtained under executive privileged could be used. 2) Justice Thomas made it clear that the appointment of Jack Smith as special prosecutor was not within the power of the executive branch. The DOJ appointed a civilian into a position that was created for a U.S. attorney appointment and approval by Congress. Jack Smith doesn't qualify nor was he approved by Congress.

Yes heads will explode out of complete ignorance of the constitution.

Trump may have a fair number of odious personality traits, but so did Churchill.

At this point we're looking for someone to lead us to victory against an existential threat to our way of life, not someone to teach our kids at Sunday school.

Right. I read the decision. Which is why I then posted about it and a gave a link to an article that detailed that particular part of her ruling so others had some context without having to slog through the entire ruling or watch a 3 hour video.

Specifically its always been possible since the Constitution was ratified for the Attorney General to appoint someone as a prosecutor to any given cases where there a conflict of interest exists or potentially exists. Given the plenary executive power of the President, I would argue that its also always been possible for the POTUS to appoint such a prosecutor as well. This is obvious given fact that the President has the power to appoint the Attorney General, which also means he has the power to fire him for any reason and then appoint someone else more to his tastes (who would then be required to follow a presidential order to appoint the prosecutor the president demands). Even if Congress refused to confirm an appointment, the President can simply hand the duties of the fired AG over to the next in line or whoever he wants and then simply wait to make a recess appoint of his chosen AG when Congress is out of session. He can also allow an underling to temporarily handle a cabinet level positions that opens up unfilled for some reason (death, illness, resignation, etc. and yes, also if the appointed & confirmed official is fired. Trump did exactly that on more than one occasion just as most or at least many presidents have).

Frankly, its a matter of common knowledge that this is how cabinet positions have always been handled, at least among those who give a shit about how and why our government is supposed to work.

Thanks for reminding me why I posted the article that specifically addressed the reason Jack Smith was illegaly "appointed!"

True. It's often Trumps attitude and or big mouth that turns people/voters off. Some treat the elections as a personality contest, instead of a get the country back on the right track contest. I know a few people who think that way and their heels are dug in. Sometimes medicine doesn't taste good but you gotta take it.

Congress did not authorize such an investigation at all.

All the so called evidence, has to be tested vs the fruit of the tainted tree...............and a new investigation begun........


The Biden documents case was similarly handled and maybe Robert Hur was aware that he was also not properly given that authority........

Thank God, that back in the day McConnell realized just what a piece of shit Garland was, and refused to allow his nomination to SCOTUS, to be voted upon.

Its my way of being honest in my political opions and choices, hoping maybe I can have mine given that I support the Rights of others to have their own as well.

So you can feel free to lecture me about how we gotta give a proven failure who mishandled his Constitutional authority (at best), or broke it (at worst /cough gun ban /cough) another chance and derail this theard if you feel like, but maybe keep in mind that you are addressing something that was not the focus of my post, and your explanatary commetary on the matter falls on deaf ears striclty on the basis of what are laws are, or are supposed to be, and how the man departed from that.

McConnell should have allowed the vote.

Could have stalled for a little bit, then held a vote that was just said "No" that was too close to the election for *another* replacement to be brought forward.

End result is the same, but it would have gutted the left wing "obstruction" talking point.

So, you think Clinton or Biden would have done better ?

I doubt Churchhill was the best guy in Britian to lead them either, but he was the best they could actually get in office.
