None of those "rulings" actually did anything. They were directed to issue that stuff by the people who had already decided what course of action to take.

The UN approved the invasion of Iraq *because* we decided to do it and then *told* them to issue the ruling. Their rulings are completely performative. It's like a Kubiki theater of legitimacy.


There are zero instances of any 1st world nation changing what they planned to do because of a ruling by the UN or the ICC.
