Might be some good news for our members up in the northwest corner of NYS. Defensor on Grand Island appears to be taking over the closed Niagara Gun Range on Niagara Falls Blvd. Let's hope they can make it work.
I just got back from the Rochester show. Plenty of dealers, but the place was a ghost town. Hardly anyone in the aisles.
A dealer told me it was a lack of advertising.
Usually Saturday is the busy day.
*Handgun rugs*
I like my handgun soft cases - rugs - for carrying pistols to the range. I keep guns in Bore Store cases in the safe. They are great, but a bit fugly for the range.
Russia has a lot of infrastructure invested in selling gas to the West. Putin may be able to cut deliveries in the short term, but he needs those sales to keep his economy going.
Remember 1980 when (then president) Jimmy Carter nearly lost the Democrat primaries to Ted Kennedy?
Millions of party faithful saw the writing on the wall and tried to dump a standing president. They failed, and we got Ronald Reagan
This dump-the-president movement will be back in 2024 IMO.
Recent reloads? About 30-35 cents a round. Plated bullets maybe a bit more. It depends mostly on the expense of the primers.
Loaded back when primers were 4 cents each? 25 cents each if the brass was cheap.
I remember release triggers from my trap shooting days in the 1980' s. Only a very few shooters used them.
I never liked them. I didn't know that they were still around.
I buy my belts from a guy who sets up at the larger gun shows in NYS. I've had the same belt for 3+ years and it's still in perfect shape. I think it might last me forever.
