Savage Mk2 rifles are great.
I'm not a fan of the ten shot mags. I prefer the flush seated five rounds magazines. More comfortable IMO and 100% reliable.
I'm heading to the Hamburg show late, probably afternoon. I don't want to stand in line for a hour to get in, like at the Syracuse show last fall. Crazy. But at least Hamburg has close parking.
Or maybe I will just go Sunday. The Game isn't until 4:30.
Masks should not be mandated, but they are a minor inconvenience unless the business is serving food or drinks. THEN it's a major hassle. For the mall or Wal-Mart I can handle it.

I picked up a thousand rounds of brass from Northeast Reloading last weekend at the Syracuse show. 500 .45 ACP and 500 .380 brass. Beautiful stuff and very reasonably priced. A+ to these guys.
I just got back from the Syracuse show.
In my 30+ years of attending the show I have NEVER seen the lines so long. A huge crowd. Not too crowded inside but really long lines to get in.
Lots of happy dealers I reckon.
During this shortage I've had to buy .22 ammo wherever I could find it.
This includes some brands that I had quit years ago. Case in point: Remington Thunderbolt .22LR.
I picked up a brick of these "Thunderduds" last month. I gotta say, guys, I was surprised. I'm halfway through the brick...
In truth, I have not shot the new King Cobra. I have handled one and it seems a competent gun. I own two examples of the old KC and have shot them extensively. They are outstanding guns and just better IMO.
To quote one camper:
"and when you do (find) a bathroom you will be surprised how dirty it is."
