You're right. I have bought many guns from there that i could've gotten way cheaper online, but i really shouldn't be buying this thing right now anyway, so I'm being more frugal than usual.
Got an email yesterday from Grabagun that the 43x was in stock. Only thing that kept me from getting it was my wife finding out about it by seeing it on our bank statement. Was gonna do their financing, but with my luck she'd find one of those statements too. Local store called tonight and said...
The defense ammo all by itself can't be found anywhere. So i picked up a pack that has 25 rounds of the defense ammo and 100 rounds of training cartridges. 65 grain polycase. Very low recoil, high velocity. Makes shooting the 43 even nicer. These will be going through the P30 at the next PPC...
I've done this. It pisses me off every time i have to do it though. I just keep thinking about how i essentially pay $80 more for less gun because of that cock sucker Cuomo.
For me it comes down to money. Buying a few $60 - $130 lowers is much more doable than buying the $1500 - $2500 guns I'd eventually like them to become.
I'd much rather have a pistol on my hip than try to fish a shotgun out of a backpack whilst being rushed by a wild animal. And you can legally discharge a pistol in all the same places you can legally discharge a long gun.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember actually telling myself that it was going to happen, but i thought i had enough clearance. Thought wrong obviously. Hating the 43 was a bit tongue in cheek. I love my 43.
Fucker bit me.
Used the 43 at my PPC shoot tonight. Shooting left handed, I put my right thumb around the backstrap and... Chomp! Need more practice shooting left handed so i don't have to hold the gun the wrong way.
^ He should. He voted against just about everything monkeyface proposed including the safe act and either the excelsior or dream acts or both when he was an assemblyman. I forget. He fought like hell to keep the psychiatric center where it is when asshole wanted to close it down to save a few...
He made it a point to get erie county's pistol permit wait times in order by opening two satellite offices (one at the expense of a normal DMV business day). I'ts still fubar, but I'm sure it's helped. It sure makes adding guns alot easier not having to go downtown. As well, he said hell no to...
Called the local gun store today and asked if they had a waiting list yet for the 43x (there was a long list for the 365). He said "what model was that?" He put the phone aside for a moment, came back and said none of us have even heard of that one yet. Oy vay, lol.
In any case, i think I'm...
The Glock 43 is the only gun that i have two of, so that kinda let's you know where i stand on that particular firearm. Of course, i have smaller hands than most, so it fits me really well. I prefer the pinky extension on all the mags though. Can't stand not having some place to put it on the grip.
I'd get the Ruger. Depending on who you talk to, the Walther can be real finicky with ammo. I know my Walther PPQ22 is. I only suggested the Walther P22 since you already have a Walther pistol so the feel, and geometry will be relatively similar. The Rugers seem to be much less picky with ammo...
Many times they are. You can often bargain though, and some guys include tax in the price so be sure to ask. Last time i got a great deal on an SR22 that was cheaper than even online places, plus no transfer fee.
My son got two nerf guns for xmas. One is a Chewbacca version that lights up and makes noise when you shoot it. It even shoots two rounds at once! I'm expecting the ATF to kick down our door any minute now.
Not necessarily. The extra width does make a difference for me, my physique and dress. I can just barely get away with the 43 being undetectable. The 26 prints very obviously on me where i like to carry.
Still more interested in the 43x. If you carry a 26 those 4mm likely don't mean much, but if you carry a 43 those 4mm mean 4 extra rounds. I'll take that since i can't do a 26, nor a 19.
I think I've mentioned this before, but ALL the kids play fortnite. They dig the guns in the game. I'm sure any of them would love the chance to shoot them in real life. Most aren't anti gun, but most did walk out last year, but it wasn't for the reasons the banners would like you to believe. It...
^ It may be. It has a unique spring and underlug configuration so the spring is likely specific for the P30. That being said, my VP9 is snappier than id like it to be, so that's probably just how they shoot.
I've rented a couple G19's and they didn't feel nearly a flat as the 43 to me. The 19x...
Got out to shoot my new P30 SK tonight. Great gun, super accurate, and the trigger is exactly what i hoped it would be like. That being said, it's a bit snappy. Pulled out the G43 just to compare, and man that thing just shoots so light. Not snappy, and flat as could be. Incredible for such a...
Picked this up on Monday at the satellite location in Cheektowaga. Paid for the addition to the permit with a Star Wars check. Found out Alan is a HUGE Star Wars fan. What a great guy. We talked for about 15 minutes about the latest iterations and how they went off track compared to the...
I agree. The more options out there, the better. Most people would think I'm bonkers for not liking the Shield, but it just didn't work for me. The 365 feels too small in my hands which is weird since i have tiny hands. The 43 feels perfect. I thought the 19 would be super comfortable for a non...
That's always been my reference. Plus always checking the rear view in case some tool doesn't realize we're stopped.
I always revel in how close people get to the car in front of them at red lights. Like they have to be those extra few feet closer to where they're going or something.
