I used to love Sg ammo. I also asked them to ship to a ffl. He said it was not worth the hassle basically. When I move to a free state they will never see another dime from me.

The fore end also allows easy mounting of a light. You can buy them with rails for the 500 also though at little cost. Here is my 20in flex with that type of foreend:
No idea why that's so big. Sorry. I carry the flex in the truck quite a bit. It breaks down into three parts in seconds and...
If you have 7+1 it's a 20 inch barrel I think. I like the 18.5 personally. I have one with a 20 inch and xs ghost rings thought and like it very much. The 500's are fine and I have one that's from the 60's. It's seen countless shells and never had and issue. I like the 590 with ghost rings. I...
I had a 590a1 and sold it. I wanted the 18.5 inch tube but hated that they only held 5. They wasted space under that barrel the could have been used to hold another shell. The newer models have fixed this (6+1) and added a forend that has rails on it. In my opinion it's now about the perfect...
It's most likely from breathing the dust. I shot a winter league in some old clubs (50's and 60's). The guys were wearing respirators during practice. I didn't finish the season. Old indoor ranges with no ventilation are not a good combination. I only shoot outside now.
NEW YORK CITY and associated counties:
POLICE OFICERS and PEACE OFFICERS are exempt from these restrictions as long as they are
purchasing the firearm(s) for DUTY USE and have authorization from their employers (department
letterhead). LE eltterheads must be submitted for each purchase.
that...
If I was a cop I would have standard (non safe compliant) stuff for work. Pistol, rifle ect. Even though I think it's wrong for profession to dictate rights, I admit I would. I would not go out and but a 10-22 with a pistol grip just because I could. Or a white AR... actually I would never buy...
It's apples to oranges. The people upstate say how bad your employer is. And how they discriminate against the poor when it comes to gun rights. We want city residents to have equal gun rights. Many cops don't (forum members excluded). The NYPD is on record saying it time and time again. I would...
I think you mistake people's anger with envy. Many cops don't share your view and think only cops should have any guns. I'm not saying I agree with your new friend here but I have zero envy. Just today I shot an AR just like yours, well it was not white but you get the idea.
Airborne will have to write tickets to the people at Starbucks that mess up his flavored coffee. We all know sgt in Mayberry don't patrol!

So cameras will somehow end breaks for everyone but cops? How is that going to work? Cameras turned off by accident somehow?Letting co-workers slide for something everyone else gets in trouble for is disgusting. Cops writing dui's then getting away with them because of their job is about the...
Nah. I will just continue to use common sense. There is zero reason to carry a hunting rifle with a loaded chamber and no safety. Every hunter safely course disagrees with you.
Oh it was in a movie. Ok then. He is a decent actor I guess.
Have you ever been in the north country woods with a rifle? You honestly think carrying a rifle with a round in the chamber and no safety is a good idea? While hiking to a tree stand through thick brush ect.
Oh come on now. You really think that? No one ever slipped and fell with a slung or carried rifle? Anything (branches, stones ect.) could end up in the trigger guard and cause bad things to happen.
Speaking of dangerous under stress.... It's been said that re-holstering is where most ND's happen. Being able to ride the hammer while re-holstering is an asset. I think Walther got it right with the pps (I think). It's striker fired but you can keep a thumb on the back and re-holster and it...
Some units can carry whatever they want. Seals for example. They carry 220's 226's m9's that h&k 1911's and glocks. Cops also carry glocks because they were basically free. Once they made the switch ND's went up quite a bit. That's a training issue of course.
And the ACU was great idea. If you...
Will.... Have you been drinking tonight? Elite combat units all over the world have been using them for decades and still will. Many will not transition to the 19. All you do is point said pistol and pull the trigger. When the threat is a threat no more you use the decocker. It's point and...
Sorry but that is absolutely idiotic. Any instructor will tell you not to thumb the hammer on a sig or other da/sa. They don't have safeties like a 1911. Try doing that under stress after a shooting.
That is true about spasms, but how is a sig 229 not point and shoot? NC highway patrol uses 226's in .357 sig and the ones I shot with were very impressive. LEO's are not know for their shooting ability for the most part. Some are of course but most only qualify and that's it. If you shot twice...
Not if you know what your doing with one. DA/SA is not all that hard to get the hang of. Plenty of expert shooters use them. A nice SA pull is a beautiful thing. As for the decocker. Thumbing the hammer can be dangerous. One slip and it could go bang.
That could be why the 320 won. Even though plenty of guys with real experience disagree with you on the above listed features. I can honestly say I have never had to carry a pistol in a warzone but many who have don't have a problem with the da/sa trigger. Some (seals) still favor the 1911...
