Yeah, I know. ZeroX was being himself and rambling about all mags being removable, AR pistols, blah blah, blah, so I was mocking him by being extra pedantic and obtuse, suggesting that a double action revolver is a semi-auto with a removable msg. Ah, never mind.
He’s saying that AR pistols...
The cylinder in a revolver can be removed. Quite easily, in many models. Does a DA revolver therefore become a semi-auto with a removable magazine outside of the grip in your sage opinion?
Ugh. Pseudointellectualism is so outdated.
I’ll be heading right through that town in my way to parts further south in a couple months. Any shops in Scranton I should stop by to, ya know, shout a patriotic howdy to? :D
I’m running a Romeo7 red dot with a Juliet 4 magnifier. I really like that combo. A lot. It’s great (for me) up to 75 yds, then drop the magnifier in place for 100 and a little beyond. Good times, good times. (Fixed mag, lots of features, rattle canned coolness.)
No, thanks. I’ll stay right here, where my property borders the runway where my airplane is hangared. Where my family has been since before the Civil War. Where the Adirondacks have been for millennia. Where people are rugged individualists, outdoorsmen, hunters, fishermen, boaters...
Yeah, but I’d save a lot of money, time, and gas. Albany is 90 miles south of my house. CT and/or PA are considerably further. If TSUSA opened a shop in Albany, though, they’d make a lot of money AND chafe those politicos who oppose freedom.
You forgot about the time that Mayor Bloomberg sent undercover cops from NYPD all the way to GA, NC, etc, to intentionally falsify 4473s in a sting effort to bust gun shops IN OTHER STATES. The shops in the other 47 contiguous states still remember, which is why a lot of shops don’t ship stuff...
It depends where you find your info, but it looks like it was a lot of things factoring into the decision to leave NYS. Cerberus set Remington on the road to destruction back around 2012. Two successive bankruptcies in 2000 and 2022 surely sealed Remington’s fate.
“Frank Brown, the...
I was kind hoping that Officer Fucktard fragged himself off the SUV’s rear bumper. But it looks like even the round he took was just as imaginary as the rest of the scenario.
I don’t wear my seatbelt because I’m planning on wrecking my vehicle.
I don’t transmit my intentions and location when I’m approaching/departing airports/strips because I’m confused.
I do things like this because I DON’T TRUST OTHERS to do what they’re supposed/expected to do in a safe...
Yikes! “Payment card.” I’m sure this “payment card” will never be tracked, traced, frozen, or used to cross reference sales of guns and/or ammunition. Not in free America. Fine, you can still use cash (for now,) but why would a free state start legislating for electronic transactions?
Uh, the Second Amendment that I am familiar with does not specify or categorize the type of arms, but does clearly state that the government may not restrict, hinder, inhibit or remove that right. So, your rant about military weapons is cool and all, but flawed, and risky, as it opens the door...
I don’t like the Mean Arms side loaders dropping the bolt for me. I prefer to do that myself. Especially if that final round didn’t seat properly into the magazine, which is common with any side loader device. Instant jam. Yeah, I know- never happened to you, ever. But it’s happened to a lot...
Anyone with a Mean Arms mag lock can LEGALLY remove it in NYS. There is no prohibiting law or regulation regarding modifying a compliant, fixed mag, semi-auto, fully featured rifle into a compliant featureless rifle with swappable magazine capability. The act of removing the mag lock was...
I’m kind of bummed that GOA is throwing so much weight behind this, but doesn’t seem to be doing much heavy lifting regarding beating down ammo BGCs, the CCIA, etc. Sure, gun rights/access for non-prohibited people is a goal, but this isn’t the direction I was personally hoping for right now...
