I like a bunch of different kinds of oil. Hoppe’s, Lucas, Break Free, Otis, Tri-Flo, and my homemade concoction built from full synthetic motor oil with a certain amount of synth grease mixed in until it’s thickened up enough to run off a stick without forming drops. I call it SquatchSnot.
Sure, it’s pretty easy. Up to 11 pounds of ammo, in original packaging, in checked luggage. You should tell the ticket agent when you drop off your luggage to avoid issues, but it’s not necessarily required. Doesn’t have to be locked in a box.
“Just move to a free state.” Best when uttered to people who bitch about illegal immigration, taxes, politics, healthcare, schools…
I guess that 2A cop-out is funny because, according the the Constitution, all states are supposed to be equally free.
Not gonna be hard to cross reference that color Caddillac CTS with credit/debit sales at that time stamp/location. Shooter might as well have held up a cardboard sign with his info on it for the camera. He’ll be easily identified.
Yeah, the Macro is sadly wasted in NYS. I can see how it may fit someone’s hand perfectly, and therefore make it the #1 choice. They don’t feel as perfect for me as my Wilson Combat 365X. But I do like the comped versions.
In my hand, a gun that is balanced tends to feel better than one that is weight biased toward the grip or toward the muzzle. The gun that has more weight toward the muzzle shoots flatter for me, though. A compensated 365 would be light, small, and shoot like a bigger gun with weight added to...
I’m undecided. The 365 is an outstanding carry gun already. Adding weight and complexity isn’t wha5 I’m after in that platform. There are other options like the 320 for setting up to be nearly whatever you want. No matter who picks one up, you either shoot a 365 well, or very well. If not...
I like whisky. The real kind, from Scotland. I enjoy sipping on a dram now and then. Not daily, not even weekly. But I do like it. I often refer to it as “Dumdum.” Because too much will certainly make you feel that way, if not sooner, most definitely later.
I could send you links, but I’d rather you do you own research and vet it properly. I do not lie when I say that marijuana use can cause some people to temporarily lose their minds. Dig a little.
Agree completely that weed isn’t a big deal, I don’t care if people smoke it, eat it or other, AS LONG AS their use doesn’t negatively affect my life. Live, and let smoke, as it were. A lot of people abuse alcohol, and a whole lot of people smoke weed. Good times, good times.
Do potheads just take little tokes because they like the flavor? For that matter, did weed ever factor into a dietary need the way that beer did, being that it sanitized a poor water source thereby making a local well potable all throughout history? Alcohol can kill, sure. So can weed...
You could make murder legal, and good people still wouldn’t commit murders for fun. Psychotic piles of human wreckage? Sure, but they’re already doing it even though it’s illegal.
The .gov doesn’t require or force anyone to suck the devil’s dick, so suing for smoking his hog isn’t likely to gain any momentum. If you willfully want a mouthful of stupidsmoke drawn into your lungs, that’s your business. Yours. Remember the “less government intrusion” mindset? It applies...
Reviving an older thread-
I saw pics on the NYguns reddit of a guy’s Mossy 500 with a birdshead grip, no stock. People were telling him it’s illegal now, delete the pics, etc, because it’s considered an “other,” which is now banned in NYS. What does NYGF have to say?
I think that should be called “I can’t get no satisf action.” What a whacked out trigger.
“Since it fires at three different places and trigger pull weights, how in hell am I supposed to know when to flinch???”
Battle Hawk. You might be waiting a couple months to actually get what you buy from them, and you’ll be waiting forever to get a pistol with a threaded barrel sent anywhere in NYS.
Ruger Super Wrangler. Shot mine yesterday, and I want to go shoot it again today! Right in your exact price...
“An armed society is a polite society.”
It’s just as true now as it was last week, last month, last year, and last century. And the ones before that.
There is almost NOTHING that’s more fun than shooting .22short out of a .22 revolver. Except maybe also shooting .22LR out of the same cylinder, then swapping cylinders to fire .22WMR from the same gun. I present, for your consideration, the Ruger Super Wrangler. $280 at most honest gun dealers.
