The way I look at it, COVID is no different than the flu at this point.

To substantiate the above valid point above; the COVID vaccine does not prevent the spread like other vaccines do (MMR for example).

Why do we need a mandate at this point?

I look at COVID as old news now, but they keep harping on it.

SCOTUS better do their job and get rid of this stupidity ASAP.

Good to know. My workplace made a vax or test mandate and they prefer doctor immunization records over the COVID cards.

So my question is for those that were stupid enough to give HR their entire immunization records, do they delete them, or hold on to them if the mandate gets trashed?

I can see where later on for instance, "Oh, Johnny, we can't have you working here because you've got or don't have XYZ and you are not fit for the workplace, see ya!".

I wonder how they believe that would work? If I requested immunization records from my doctor it would be a blank page. They have no record of what vaccinations I received as a child, the scary shit I got in bulk when I served, or when I got the hepB vaccine from a previous employer.
When I went to my doctor I was asked if I had gotten the covid vaccine, Its not like they pulled up my chart and everything its there complied for them.

I wonder if anyone happened to mention to SCOTUS that the majority of deaths from covid are people who are well beyond the typical working age.

Just love this cut your own throat approach! We are so short staffed at work without a mandate imposed yet. Better put up the out of business sign if this shit is adopted. My work is going to impose mandatory overtime.

Well, this is what is happening down in NYC. Corporate businesses that are run in free states are fleeing NYC. I have a few friends that their company ripped the NYC office presence right out when diblasio did the mandates down there. Gave them 3 options: 1. WFH. 2. Go to their corporate office. 3. Quit.

Heck some are even incentivizing workers to relocate from NYC.

If SCOTUS gets rid of this vax mandate, there might be a tad bit of hope.

My employer in Montana falls under the CMS mandate…there’s a Montana state law against vaccine mandates, can not discriminate for vaccine status.

CEO has said they will enforce the mandate if it goes into effect, even knowing they will get sued. They flat out said they will lose more in federal funding than they will in lawsuit payouts.

I have already talked to the AGs office and a lawyer. Fire me…please…

About what I expected. Did the right thing for one group and then broke it off in the ass of the other. Nice to know that jabbed medical workers CAN STILL TRANSMIT THE FUCKING VIRUS! THE ONLY ONE THE JAB CAN HELP (As I try not to laugh too loud) IS SUPPOSEDLY THE ONE WHO FUCKING GOT JABBED! "Oh, I want my protection from the virus by making sure everyone around my hospital bed is vaccinated. It's the only way to be safe." Fucking joke.

While I am relieved that the 100 person mandate got squashed, it's still dumb that the healthcare workers got shafted.

Though, who knows, things can always change.

No one should be required to get a vax they don't need/want. Especially if it doesn't stop the transmission of that said disease.

I really would prefer small clinics like in the past and more personalized healthcare. I've love to go to a doctor that doesn't see hundreds of patients a week. Like town docs like in the old days. Where everyone in town knew them and there was minimal to no funny business like there is today.

Everything in healthcare has been so computerized and it feels like every time I go to the doctor it just feels like they are going with what they see on a computer screen without putting much thought into the actual practice.

i was hearing from some news comments .. its the FED medical workers that take medicade /medicare have to get jabbed
.. if so ... that would be like the VA hospital workers not your local normal hospitals
