Gunshops, are like the top of Mt Everest for most minority gun buyers and women............almost off limits.

It is like a man going into a Victoria's Secret/longerie section.

Like a fish out of water; straw man buyers are less and less due to FFL observance. I have seen several instances of the FFL asking a person to leave who is obviously not a person the FFL wanted in his store or the real buyer..............Ra-Lins in Syr.

I bought a gun years ago, as the original GB order/purchaser was refused by the NICS check, and the FFL sold it to me at a discount.

Ten round mags are fine for me.......................Garands used 8 rounds and won WWII.

AR'15's in Vietnam used up 50,000 rounds per VC kill, when averaged out.

Funny I have never seen a two way trap range, IDPA, or cowboy match and I have been to a lot of them. To call a person a deadly shot because he competes is a joke.

They may be accurate one may even say “deadly accurate,” but until a person has been on a two way range they cannot be called deadly or a killer.

No amount of gun games practice prepares you pointing that weapon at a human being and putting them down. In that moment you either have it in you or you don’t.

The reasons for rounds per body in combat are many. One being suppressive fire. Suppressive fire allows you to get out of a bad situation or get into position to take advantage of the situation.

Thousands of rounds are expended just to be able to move onto or off of the objective. Body count does not enter into the equation. Sure it would be great to kill everyone there but that is not the reason for suppressive fire.

Ambush is another reason. Overwhelming fire brought on the enemy positions, does not mean one shot per enemy. It usually means thousands of rounds are thrown into the kill box to make sure nothing come out of it.

Another is Soldiers did not go on patrol to kill the enemy, they go out to deny the the area to the enemy. Only the Door kicker and snipers are looking to kill the enemy. Everyone else is happy to avoid a firefight and is trying to survive the one they got into.

Another is not everyone has it in them to kill, putting lead in the enemies direction is not the same as shooting to kill.

When the targets start shooting back at the gun games rounds counts per hit count will also go up.
