Yep, a 6 time felon carrying a gun in NYS without a permit is a crime.

Yes, Absolutely you can. and at some point in the future you probably can be arrested for possession of a semi auto rifle ,because a new law has passed.

At what point do you stop recognizing the right of the courts to decide your rights? That your rights need no interpretation? At some point in time ,20-30-50- years, if you want to remain a law abiding citizen you WILL have to turn over your weapons or face jail time. If you possess a particular weapon , you will be a criminal. Your rights are being criminalized and your bitching at me for pointing it out.

Right, so where is the problem?
I am every single bit in full support of the BORs as anyone on this site, more than most.
The topic of this thread was not about a fantasy world where all our rights are recognized as the founder meant them to be.
We are talking about lowering gun crime TODAY in the real world with CURRENT laws.
So, as Ive stated 100s of times on this site, EVERYONE should be able to have guns until they show they should not..ie...Extremely violent, mentally ill.......
However, that is a fantasy world.
Again, we are not talking about how it should be, we are talking about the way it is.

Every single word ive said is about crimes where guns are used.
Armed robbery, murder, assault....
The people that USE GUNS ILLEGALLY should be in jail.
Just like people who murder with knives, cars, rocks.

I did.
I bought a house outside NYS just because of the gun laws.
But, in NYS carrying a gun without a permit is a crime. No matter how unfair, its the law.
Break the law, be held accountable.

This ""fantasy"" world existed all the way back in 1960s . For 250 years people in this country lived in this ""fantasy"" world . Im not talking about the way it is, Im talking about the way it was, and the way it was meant to be.

Your 100% correct. If someone is caught they are going to be punished. I am under no disillusion of the outcome.
