Some will ask why John Durham never found this information, and/or shared it publicly. The answer to that question is not hard to understand. On January 5, following a briefing by IC leadership on Russian hacking during the 2016 Presidential election, President Obama had a brief follow-on conversation with FBI Director Jim Comey and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the Oval Office. Vice President Biden and I were also present.

President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities “by the book.” The President stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book.

From a national security perspective, however, President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia.

Director Comey affirmed that he is proceeding “by the book” as it relates to law enforcement.

He said he is proceeding with caution given the context and he will be mindful to ensure that he is looking at things from a perspective of needing to protect the intelligence sources and methods. He said that he will reach out to the incoming NSA [Michael Flynn] if and when it is appropriate.

So it's being pointed out that Biden's Chief of Staff wrote a Memo telling the Auto-pen operator to "approve them all" which sounds to me like a "fuck 'em, we're outta here, not my problem" actions of a disgruntled soon to be ex-employee...professionalism and ethics certainly were not factors in the Biden White House.

Cotton wants to "streamline" the office of DNI so it just accepts what the individual agencies provide and not ask any questions.

We knew this was coming. The Intelligence Community does not like rogue actors amid their ranks, especially if those people have cross-silo access. The silo system is designed to protect the Deep State. Any entity who can cross reference the inserted information becomes a risk to the enterprise.
Senator Cotton cannot directly oppose Tulsi Gabbard without exposing himself. Thus someone, not the SSCI, writes the legislative changes to the Intelligence Community rules and procedures and Tom Cotton simply advances them. That’s the way DC operates.

My understanding is that statue of limitations has run out but conspiracy to cover up a crime doesn't. It's not treasonous but anyone with knowledge of the cover up or took part in the act could be charged with conspiracy to cover up the crime. Reading the release, the DOJ appears to have a slam dunk sitting in their laps. So many testified before congress and lied that this could be a take down of a political party. We will have to sit and wait to see how the DOJ handles it.
