The weight is definitely good for hunting but precision rifles are not known to be super light. I think it would be great as a predator hunting rig if the accuracy is there
I would want to be their piggy pig. Ruger rpr has a good track record. Eurooptics has a left over desert tech srs a1 chassis on clearance if you are looking......don’t look at the price lol.
We loved koa 1000 island, always got a site right on the water for 8-9 nights. Last summer was the first time not camping there. We would book for the following year when we left. Selkirk was still fun, did our first fall camping trip and it was awesome. Loved not sweating. Wish Selkirk was full...
I am thinking I am going to do the hunt, it’s not far from me. Depends on the weather. Sportsman show is also the same weekend. I wish my youngest was old enough to hunt with me.

I use hevi shot dead coyote T shot with my 870 12 ga with the dead coyote choke tube. I have only taken a 1 grey fox with it, I normally rifle hunt predators.

I’m heading out tomorrow with my son and my buddy and his son. I’ll be the shotgunner and they r bringing 22s. Next season, my 22 should be sighted in.
I think I have hunting cartridges all set. I don’t really have anything that I would consider big. Whatever I get needs to be available for the desert tech srs a-1 chassis.
