Another quick and easy modification for that rifle would be the firing pin/roll pin mod. Had an occasional FTFire on mine and this mod did the trick. %100 reliable now. I beleive its a 3/32" roll pin tapped down vertically to remove the sloppy factory free play on the firing pin.
Just make...
I would sell those and buy these. You never said you have a rifle for this brass but if you do, good, reloadable boxer-primed ammo is all over Gunbroker. This auction is from Rocky Point, NY.
Turned my limited attention to salt water fishing the last few years so this is now surplus to my needs. Comes with all the fresh water goodies you see in the pics. 20" wide, 10" deep and 13.5" tall. (Dollar bill shown for scale). ****Reduced to $20 FTF ****or trade for AR parts, ammo...
If you ever download that 44, consider these plated bullets from Berry's. I got them down to around mild-38 Special velocity and its a welcome change to stiff hunting or factory loads. Doesn't beat the gun up either. Like $84 for 500 heads and you can shoot the pistol all day.
Last sentence of the description, on the lower right hand side, it says "These items will not be shipped to C&R holders".
Shame, because probably alot of these are pre-1970. Never understood that reasoning. many dealers on Gunbroker think the C&R license is Taboo as well. Even the...
1) Factory takeoffs from my buddy's pistol that are in mint condition. Fits all full size 1911 platforms. Kimber marked and good to go. $39 shipped to lower 48 states.
2) CocoBolo "Razors" . These are milled down, full-sized , ultra low-profile grips. Recess into frame cutouts to thin out...
Interested in the Ruger 10-22 possibly, but I'm down in Westchester. Just curious, but what year was that Ruger made? I hold a C&R license and might make you an offer if its made 1970 or earlier. (If 1970 or earlier, it qualifies as a C&R firearm) Thanks for your time, Vet..
Joining the GCA (Garand Collectors Assoc.) for $25 a year is a valid "club" and satisfies their needs. You also get a great magazine every few months out of it. Long time member here.
Was out of an estate of a WW2 vet, and the son I purchased it from said "Dad brought it home". Thats all I got. No markings, no names. Looks very well made, and someone took some time on this. I guess I'm looking for the basics.. What country? What time frame?, etc..I Google-searched for...
