Might want to buy one or the other. They are pretty similar. In my opinion it doesn't make much sense to have/carry both. Practice with one platform if you can.

No one is carrying it around over long distances. They are not designed for that. They are the best when it comes to protecting valuable equipment. I would guess over 99% of people don't need the level of protection they offer though and could be well served with cheaper options.

Some say they work when sling shot is used. I think the manual says otherwise. I have read how many won't load unless slide release is used.

I almost bought one then I found out you have to use the slide release to load/reload. I'm a lefty and I don't practice that way so it was a no go for me.
